Remove the Paper Cover.

Pinch the Ink Roller Knob with your fin

gers, and pull it up ward.

Insert the new Ink Roller in the slot of the

carriage by pushing it all the way in until it

is firmly settled with a "click" sound.

Manual Drawer Release

The drawer will automatically open on appropri
ate operations. However, in the even of a power
failure, etc., the drawer can be released manu

ally.

The Drawer Release Lever is located on the

bottom side of the register. Push the lever in the
direction of the arrow, and the drawer opens.
