Handset Controls & Functions

Buttons
- Used lor dialing numbers.
TALK Button
- Places the Handset into Talk
mode or back to Standby.
ВАТТ LO LED
- Lights when the Handset is in the
Talk mode. Flashes when the battery pack is low
and needs to be recharged.
Handset Antenna
- User replaceable flexible
antenna provides maximum range.
Rechargeable Battery Pack
- User replaceable
and rechargeable for long, trouble-free service.
R (Redial) Button
- Redials the last number
dialed.
^ (TONE) Button (Australian Model only) -
When the T/P (Tone/Pulse) switch on the rear of the
Base is in Pulse, allows tone dialing for access to
long distance services, etc.
F (FLASH) Button
- Sends a timed hookflash on
the telephone line tor accessing services such as
call waiting, etc.
Base Unit Controls & Functions
DC IN 9V
- Plug small connector of AC adaptor
into this socket. Plug AC adaptor into a standard
wall outlet to provide power for the Base Unit and
charging for the Handset.
TEL LINE
- Plug one end of the Telephone Line
Cord into this jack. Plug the other end of the
Telephone Line Cord into a standard modular
telephone socket.
Base Antenna
- Telescoping antenna provides
maximum range when fully extended.
TIP
(Tone/Pulse) Switch (for Australian Model only) -
Selects either tone dialing or pulse dialing.
Charge LED
- LED lights to indicate that the
Handset is charging.
