Note:
If you don’t place the Handset back on
the Base Unit, you need to press the TALK
button to hang up the phone.
You may find that sometimes pressing the
TALK
button does not hang up the phone, and
the error tone will sound continuously. This may
occur during conversations under noisy condi
tions. If this occurs, place the Handset back on
the Base Unit, or press the
TALK
button again

The Battery Low LED
When the battery pack in the Handset is very low
and needs to be charged, the
ВАТТ LO
LED will
blink on and off (accompanied by beep tones)
when in the Talk mode. When this occurs, com
plete the call that you are making as rapidly as
possible, and return the Handset to the cradle for
charging.
Using the Tone Button
(Australian Model only)
If you have rotary (Pulse) telephone service, the
TONE
button allows you to access a computer or
long distance service that responds only to Tone
signals.
1 Dial the local number to the computer or calling
service with the
TONE/PULSE
switch in the P
' (pulse) position.
2 After you have reached the number, press the
=f(TONE)
button and continue to dial your access
code or any other numbers required.
Using the F (Flash) Function
The
F (FLASH)
button is used to send a timed
hook flash on the telephone line for accessing
telephone company services such as call waiting,
etc. To use this feature, simply press the F
(FLASH)
button while in the Talk mode.
