3-4-3 MEMORY SHIFT
It is possible to copy the contents of a memory channel to
the VFO without erasing the memory channel.
1. Select the desired Memory
Channel. (For example Ch.
12)
2. Press the M key.
3. Within 5 seconds press
the VFO key to copy the
data.
3-4-4 MEMORY RECALL
1. Press the MR key. The
memory channel that was
active before return to the
VFO mode will appear in
the display. (For example
Ch. 12)
2. Rotate the tuning control
until the desired Memory
channel number appears
in the display. (For exam
ple Ch. 5)
Note:------------------------------------
If a channel contains no data
it cannot be displayed using
this procedure.
3.
To return to the VFO
mode, press the VFO key.

3-4-5 ODD SPLIT
Memory channels 13 and 14 store both a transmit and a
receive frequency. These channels allow operation on
"Odd Split" repeater channels.
• Data entry
1. Select the desired receiver
frequency, tone frequen
cy, and tone status. (For
example 145.080 MHz)
2. Enter the data into either
memory channel 13 or 14
as described previously.
(For example Ch. 13)
3. Select the desired trans
mitter frequency by press
ing the VFO key and then
rotating the tuning control.
(For
example
145.300
MHz)
4. Press the M key. Memory
channel 13 will appear in
the display.
