Fresh Vegetable
Prepare as desired, wash, and leave residuai water on the
vegetabies. Piace in an appropriately-sized microwave
container, cover with plastic wrap and vent.

Frozen Vegetable
Remove from package, rinse off frost under running water.
Piace in an appropriateiy-sized microwave container, cover
with plastic wrap and vent.

Canned Vegetable
Remove from the outer display can. Place in an
appropriately sized microwave container, cover with plastic
wrap and vent. After cooking, stir and allow to stand for 3
minutes.

Casserole
Assemble the ingredients per the recipe in a 1-2 quart
casserole. Cooking with plastic wrap and vent.
After cooking, stir and allow to stand for 3 minutes.

Add twice the amount of water to the rice. Use a microwave
container large enough to prevent water from boiling over
dish. Cover with plastic wrap or lid.
