installation Checklist
Whether or nor the eiement conversion is made, the model
rating plate must be marked. Using a hard point ink pea,
check the appropriate block within the model rating plate,
■which is located adjacent to the lower access panel.
Is the fuse or circuit breafter size correct as shown in the chart
in the “Product Specifications” section?
Are the wires from die circuit breaker or fuse service to the
water heater's juncrion box on the correct wire size (gauge) as
shown in the chart in the “Product Specifications” section?
Is the new temperature-pressure relief valve properly
installed, and piped to an adequate drain? See “Temperature-
Pressure Relief Valve" section,.
Is the water heater completely filled with water? See “Filling
the Water Heater” instructions in the “installation
Instructions” section
WiU a water leak damage anything? See “Facts to Consider
About the Location” section-
Are the cold and hot water lines connected to the water heater
correedy? See “Water Piping” instructions in the “Installation
Instructions" section,
is there adequate clearance for maintenance around the water
heater?
Do you need to call your electric compan'y to check your
wiring?
