your range into
a

Do not remove
the

grounding prong
from the piug. if
in doubt about
the
grounding
of
the home electrical
system, it is
your
personal responsibility and
obligation
to have an ungrounded
outlet
replaced with a properly-
grounded
three-prong outlet in
accordance
with the National
Electrical Code. Do not use an
extension cord with this appliance.

prevent
accidental
tipping of the
range, attach
it to the wall
or floor by
installing the
ANTI-TIP bracket supplied. To
check if the bracket is installed
and engaged properly, remove the
drawer and inspect the rear
leveling leg. Make sure it fits
securely into the slot in the
bracket.
If you pull the range out from
the wail for any reason, make
sure the rear leg is returned to its
position in the bracket when you
push the range back.
« Se sure all packing materials
are removed from the range
before operating it, to prevent
fire or smoke damage should
the packing material ignite.

stand or hang on the oven door,
storage drawer or range top.
They could damage the range and
even tip it over causing severe
personal injury.

Never pick up a flaming
pan. Turn off burner, then
smother flaming pan by covering

be put out by covering with baking
soda or, if available, a multi
purpose dry chemical or foam type
fire extinguisher.

materials in an oven or near
the cooktop.
© Do not let cooking grease
or other flammable materials
accumulate in or near the range.
© When cooking pork, follow
the directions exactly and always
cook the meat to an internal
temperature of at least
llG-r.
This assures that, in the remote
possibility that trichina may be
present in the meat, it will be
killed and meat will be safe to eat.
Surface Cooking
® Always use the LITE position
when Igiiiting top burnei^ and
make sure the burners have ignited.
® Never leave surface burners
unattended at HI flame settings.
Boilover causes smoking and
greasy spillovers that may catch
on fire.
@ Adjust top burner flame size
so it does not extend beyond the
edge of the cooking uteiisiL
