1.12 KCS Monitoring: Save License Server Configuration (SPR00068542)
In the KCS Monitoring and Alerting Configuration application, it is now possible to save the license server
configuration only. This operation does not require SQL server authentication.

1.13 Version Tracking: Support of Kofax Monitor 6.0
Kofax Communication Server can now be monitored and managed via Kofax Monitor 6.0. Kofax Monitor offers
functions similar to KCS Monitor (TCMon), and it offers additional functions related to monitoring key
performance indicators of KCS:

TCMon functions (start/stop application/messaging server, start/stop applications, reset disk/nodes, view
channel status)
 KPI monitoring functions (you can monitor KPI of various KCS servers, you can configure alerts and actions
when KPI reach a threshold value, you can display reports showing historical data)
Kofax Monitor uses a client-server architecture and offers a web-based user interface. You can monitor and
manage KCS from any computer with an internet browser (no Kofax software is required on client computers).
Kofax Monitor is a standalone product. It is not part of Kofax Communication Server setup.
KCS Monitoring (part of Kofax Communication Server) is required for Kofax Monitor.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express are now supported in the following
KCS Server Package components:

TC/Probe
 TC/Report
 KCS Monitoring
The R2 is used and configured in the same way as SQL Server 2008.
No version tracking for TC/MA (Message Analyzer).
