1.22 TC/LINK-FM: Configurable Parameter for Automatic Creation of MFP
User Profiles (SPR00065732)
With the registry setting …\TCLINKFI\MFP\MfpUserAttribute you now have the explicit possibility to choose
an attribute for the automatic creation of the MFP user profile and the originator of the message. For using this
attribute as originator, …\TCLINKFI\MFP\OriginatorIsMfpHostName has to be set to 1.
Example: …\TCLINKFI\MFP\MfpUserAttribute = “##ScannerHostname”
If this setting is left empty, the attributes “##ScannerName” and “##UserName” are used.

Configuration
1.23 TC/LINK-FM: Shadow user recognition required for messages sent via
TC/LINK-FI (Xerox XST Format) (SPR00071012)
TC/LINK-FM can now be configured in a way that if a user logged on to a Xerox MFP sends a message from the
MFP, the user becomes the originator of that message. In effect, there is now a new parameter NetworkUsername
in the section [service xrx_svc_general] of the xst file.
To enable this feature, set this registry value…\TCLINKFI\Mfp\OriginatorIsMfpHostName = 0
If this value is set to 1, the MFP name or IP address is used as originator. This is also the default originator for
messages from Xerox MFPs via TC/LINK-FI.

1.24 TC/LINK-MX7: Support of Exchange Online (SPR00068979)
TC/LINK-MX7 now supports Microsoft Exchange Online:
TC/LINK-MX7 can provide email communication with Exchange Online mailboxes. The connection is done
via SMTP.
TC/LINK-MX7 enables Exchange Online users to access all services available on the Kofax Communication
Server, e.g. send and receive faxes, receive voice mail, etc.
As a member of the TC/LINK-SM product family, TC/LINK-MX7 supports all SMTP/MIME features
provided by TC/LINK-SM: multiple parallel receive threads, binary attachments, extended character sets
and enhanced delivery status notifications, optional SSL security
Additionally, TC/LINK-MX7 can handle TNEF encoded messages (attachment winmail.dat) that are
sometimes sent by Exchange servers.
TC/LINK-MX7 is member of the TC/LINK family and therefore has a unified architecture and all the
common features (e.g. document conversion, configurable covers and templates, configurable address
mapping, and so on).
Support of Kofax Communication Server features like printing all incoming email, auto-forward feature,
least cost routing, delayed sending, alerts (via shadow user profiles).
No additional configuration on Exchange side is needed: no connectors, no SSL certificates
