Network interface card (NIC) teaming is the process of grouping together several physical NICs into one single
logical NIC. The goal of the NIC teaming services is to provide fault tolerance across a team of two or more ports
on a TCOSS server.
By NIC teaming more than one physical NIC to a logical NIC, high availability of a TCOSS server is maximized.
Even if one NIC (or cables) fails, the network connection does not cease and continues to operate on other NICs.
