NOTE: The 490 engine has an over sized bolt with a
Belleville washer in the number 4 position. The
wrench size and torque is the same as the other
three bolts. See Figure 9.6.
14. Lift the cylinder head off of the engine.
15. Carefully clean all sealing surfaces of all gasket resi-
due. Do not scratch the sealing surfaces.

NOTE: Make a visual inspection of the valves and cylinder
bore to confirm the initial diagnosis.
