Copy Bank
When copying Banks, both the Hot-Key assignments and the Cuts they are assigned to are
copied, as well as the Playlist. Copies are always between the two drives. You have the option of
replacing cuts on the destination drive when Index Numbers of cuts being copied match them, or
of assigning new Index Numbers to the copied Cuts. Instant Replay automatically reassigns the
Hot-Keys to match the new Index Numbers. You also have the option to replace Cuts on the
destination drive that have Names that match any of the Cuts being copied.
To Copy a Bank:
•
Select the Bank to be copied
•
Press M ENU and select COPY BANK using the S CROLL A RROW keys.
•
Press E NTER . The display will show:
REPL DUPL INDEX?
ENTER=YES, CANCEL=NO
•
Press E NTER or C ANCEL as desired
•
The display will show:
REPL DUPL NAMES?
ENTER=YES, CANCEL=NO
•
Press E NTER or C ANCEL as desired
•
The display will show:
SELECT DEST BANK
PRESS ENTER/CANCEL
•
The number of the currently selected Bank will flash as a reminder in case you want
to copy to the same Bank number on the destination drive.
•
Press C ANCEL to terminate the copy operation and return to the menu
OR
•
Press E NTER to copy to the selected Bank
OR
•
Press a H OT -K EY from 1 to 10 to select a Bank to copy to, then press E NTER to start
the operation.
•
The display will show the file being copied, and the total number of files to copy:
COPYING 1 OF XX
001 CUT NAME 01%
•
If you chose either of the REPLACE options and the operation results in a cut being
replaced, the display will show REPLACE 1 OF XX during that portion of the copy
operation. When the operation is complete, the display will show:
FILES COPIED: XX
FILES NOT COPIED: 0
•
Press E NTER or C ANCEL to return to the menu.
•
Press M ENU to exit.
Files Not Copied should be zero unless the destination disk became full, or there was a disk error
on the source or destination drive.
Copy Drive
