roof in rear - requires (2) strap sets

in rear - requires (2) strap sets

1-Unthread the short strap piece from the buckle and se-

cure it to the roll bar by by threading its end through its
loop and pulling tight (Fig 3). Go to the opposite side of
the Jeep and secure the long piece to the roll bar by the
same method.

2-Run both strap pieces through the d-rings on each side of

the Duffle Bag(s) (Fig 4). Run the long strap piece through
the d-ring(s) on the top of the Duffle Bag(s).
3-
Bring the strap pieces together on the top corner of the

Duffle Bag(s). Thread the short strap piece back through
the center buckle (Fig 5).

Remove the Car Clips from the ends of the (2) straps (Fig
1). The straps attach side to side between the roll bars of
the Jeep (Fig 2).

The correct attachment of this product is critical and

beyond the control of Rightline Gear. The safe use

and long life of this product depends entirely on

your good judgment and following these directions.

Each strap has (2) strap pieces connected through a center
buckle.

4-Repeat steps 1-3 for each of the straps that will be

used.

For vehicles WITHOUT a roof rack, add the Car Clips
back on to the end of the straps (Fig 7). The Car Clips al-
low the straps to attach to a sturdy ledge on the vehicle’s
door frame. On most vehicles, the best ledge can be found
under the weather molding (Fig 8), however, any metal
ledge, rain gutter, or the outside of the weather molding
itself can be used.

Each strap has (2) strap pieces connected through a center
buckle.

1-Unthread the short strap piece from the buckle and run

both strap pieces through the d-rings on the sides of the
Duffle Bag(s) (Fig 9). Run the long strap piece through the
d-ring(s) on top of the Duffle Bag(s) (Fig 10).

Pack The 4x4 Duffle Bag

1-Pack the Duffle Bag full, close the zipper, and secure

the Velcro-close zipper cover.

2-Place items with sharp or pointed edges in the middle

and pack softer items around them.

3-Remove the handle straps of the Duffle Bag and place

them in the outer pocket.

4-Place the Duffle Bag(s) on the Jeep’s roof in one of the

following configurations:

5-Close the Jeep doors over the straps.

For vehicles WITH a roof rack, follow the above directions,
looping the straps around the roof rack side rails (Fig 6)
instead of the roll bars.
