Power Supply Preparations

Using rechargeable batteries_____________________________________
Make sure that the rechargeable batteries have been recharged before use.
Recharging procedure
1 Open the disc lid.
Open the battery compartment
lid, and place the rechargeable
batteries inside the unit.
No batteries other than the special re­
chargeable batteries can be recharged.

Be absolutely sure to close the battery
compartment lid properly to avoid the
damage to the disc.
If the battery compartment lid becomes dis­
engaged, insert the protrusions on the lid
into the cutouts on both sides of the unit.
3 Take off the attached rubber cap
and connect the AC adaptor.
The configuration of the AC adaptor differs
according to the area.
• It takes about 3 hours to fully recharge the
batteries.
4 Upon completion of the recharg­
ing, disconnect the AC adaptor
from the DC IN jack and power
outlet.
Removing the batteries
Push the batteries upward in the direction of
the arrow to remove them.
• The batteries can be used for about 10 months
(300 times) if they are used every day.
They will need to be replaced if the duration of
their operation drops drastically.
• You can operate the unit with the AC adaptor
while recharging the batteries, but it will lengthen
the recharging time.
• Recharging should be performed at 5°C~40’C.
•While recharging, the AC adaptor and recharge­
able batteries may get warm. This is normal.
