Set BAND to the desired radio
band.
FM STEREO: To receive FM stereo
broadcasts
(If you have tuned into
an FM stereo broad
cast, the FM ST indica
tor will light.)
AM:
To receive AM broad
casts
►if FM stereo reception is poor, set BAND to FM. This
will reduce the noise and provide clear reception;
however, the broadcast will not be heard in stereo.

The radio can be turned off by setting SELECTOR to TAPE/
Adjust the antennas

FM:
Pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust its length and
angle for optimum reception.
AM:
Turn the unit in the direction which gives the best results.
