Set BAND to the desired radio
band.
FM STEREO; To receive FM stereo
broadcasts
(If you have tuned into
an FM stereo broad
cast, the FM ST indica

AM:
To receive AM broad
casts
•If FM stereo reception is poor, set BAND to FM. This
will reduce the noise and provide clear reception;
however, the broadcast wilt not be heard in stereo.
Use TUNING to tune into a de
sired broadcast.
