Cause & Remedy
Speakerphone of the unit cannot be
turned on from a remote phone.

The MEMORY switch of the unit is set to "PROGRAM”.
If the Switch is returned to "SET", the unit will operate
normally.
The POWER indicator does not light
when the POWER switch is turned on.
Confirm whether the AC cord is plugged in or not.
3Facsimile[
The ALARM indicator lights during
transmission.
•Confirm whether the cover is closed completely or not.
•When copying or receiving documents for tong periods of
time, the unit may overheat. In this case, turn off the POWER
switch and allow the unit to cool.
•When you transmit a document which is longer than
600 mm, the alarm may sound. Turn off the POWER switch,
open the cover and remove the document.
•The recording paper of the other party’s facsimile may be
out.
•If you have call waiting service, it may have been activated
by another telephone call. Re-connect the unit to no call
waiting serviced line.
Recording Image is scratchy and can not
be read completely.
The other party transmitted a light density document. Have the
other party darken the density of a document (e.g. by copying)
then have them transmit it again.
The document is not pulled into the unit.

The document jammed during
transmission.
If the document is not properly inserted into the DOCUMENT
holder, it may not be pulled into the feeder. Insert the
document sufficiently until it stops.
•A scrap of paper may be jammed into the unit. Open the
cover by pushing the LATCH button and remove the
scrap.
The other party complains that
documents are being received with
distorted letters.
•Someone may have used a telephone connected in parallel
with the KX-F115.
•If you have call waiting service, it may have been activated
by another telephone call. Re-connect the unit to no call
waiting serviced line.
