TROUBLESHOOTING
The device will not turn on.
Check that the batteries are properly installed and have sufficient charge.
The device will not focus.
Rotate the objective and eye pieces to adjust focus. If the device remains out of focus,
wipe the optical parts to remove possible dust and humidity/condensation.
The picture has diminished or completely disappeared.
A bright light source may be the reason for this occurrence. It is the automatic
electronic protection built into the device to prevent prolonged exposure. If the LRB-7
switches off automatically, set the switch to the OFF position and wait 2 minutes to
restart.
Condensation buildup.
In cold weather, condensation is possible on the outer surfaces of the eyepieces and
objective lens. In this case it is recommended that the optical surfaces be covered
periodically with a special anti-condensation coating.
There are some black spots on the screen.
Small black spots on the image are allowed. Most black spots are visible only in the
daytime but when the device is used in “Operation mode” they are practically invisible.
