BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove lens cap.
2. Turn power switch to “ON” position (fig. 1.8).
3. Adjust (fig. 1.3) interpupillary distance.
4. Adjust sharpness by rotating objective (fig. 2.1) and eyepieces (fig. 3.1).
5. If necessary the built in IR Illuminator can be used to improve lighting conditions.
The IR Illuminator is activated by toggle switch (fig. 9.1). Use the toggle switch (fig. 9.1)
to select 1 of 3 light intensity settings (5, 25 or 75 mW). When the IR Illuminator is
powered on an indicator light will appear in the right side of the view finder of the
device.

The LRB-7 Night Vision Binoculars require two AA batteries. Remove the battery cap
and install 2 AA batteries with + / - (Positive and Negative) terminals pointing in the
same direction pictured on the battery compartment.
The built-in low battery indicator is a blinking LED light that appears in the left side of
the view finder. When the voltage falls below 1.9v the indicator will appear, notifying
you that the batteries will soon require replacement.
Note: For maximum battery life from this device, alkaline batteries are
recommended.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note:
Observation and identification range provided by this device depends on the
amount of ambient light, type of objective used, weather and contrast
between the target and background.
Note:
Be aware that 805nm IR Illuminator’s do emmit some visible light (red in color)
and can be seen by other night vision devices. The 940 nm IR Illumination is
not visible but has a decreased range.
