several bolts in place opposite the “come along” or hoist support. Undo the clamps on
the sleeve and remove the hanger arm bolts in the area of support.
The remaining hanger arms will act as a hinge allowing one side of the bin activator to
be lowered. The sleeve can now be removed. Follow procedures above for cleaning
and prep of the sleeve area before installing the new sleeve.
The replacement sleeve can be installed to the top ring and clamped in place. The bin
activator can now be raised to engage the sleeve.

With the hanger arms in place, remove the upper and lower clamps. Remove the
existing sleeve. This sleeve can be cut to assist in removal. Clean sleeve area per
above procedures.
The new sleeve can now be installed by “threading” through the 1-1/2 gap between the
upper mounting ring and the bin activator body. It will take (2) men to work the sleeve
throught the gap and fit it to the mounting ring and the bin activator. The use of the flat
bar “tire irons” is a must for this procedure. This method is the most difficult but may be
the only practical method available due to installation constraints.
Follow above procedures for clamps, bolts, isolators, inspections etc.
