The tray can be emptied into a dustbin and then rinsed with water if necessary.
Only attach the tray to the sweeper when it is completely dry. (Figures 1 and 2).

Never use solvents (acetone, benzene, petrol etc.) to clean the appliance because these materials could
dissolve the plastic cover and damage the internal components. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.

Debris (hair, fibres etc.) will accumulate on the brushes after a while. This must be
removed to keep the sweeper working properly. First, turn the sweeper off and
remove the handle. This avoids turning the appliance on by accident and also allows
the transparent frame to be removed. Next, push the bolts (part no. 7) inward.

This allows access to the brushes by removing the frame. (Figures 3 and 4).
Use the cleaning tool (part no. 13) to remove any tangled hair and threads.

Any dirt can also be removed by moving the tool along the axis. (Figure 5).

The cleaning tool is spiky and very sharp, so take great care when handling it.
Finally, when you have finished cleaning, reassemble the sweeper.

HOW TO STORE THE SWEEPER

Turn the appliance off and empty the dust tray.

Remove the handle (by reversing the assembly instructions).

If the sweeper isn't going to be used for a while, charge the battery completely. Pack the appliance in a plastic
bag and store it in a dry, dust-free and frost-free place. Store the accessories alongside the sweeper.

USING THE APPLIANCE

1. If necessary, charge the battery before use as described above.

2. Assemble the handle from the three aluminium sections (as described previously) and attach it to the

appliance.

3. Turn the sweeper on.

4. Push and drag the sweeper slowly across the surface you wish to clean. The appliance will gather dirt, dust

and fluff in the dust tray (part no. 10). Only use the sweeper on floor surfaces where the brushes won't jam;
we recommend restricting its use to fitted wall-to-wall carpets that are not too deep or soft. Avoid carpets
with deep/long pile or rugs with fringed edges because the rotating brushes can easily trap the material; the
motor could overheat and be damaged when the brushes jam. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage
under these circumstances.

5. Regularly check that the brushes have not become clogged with fluff and hair. If necessary, switch off the

appliance and remove the accumulated debris. A tool for cleaning the brushes is supplied with the sweeper.
Always switch off the appliance when you're not using it, even if you're just pausing for a moment.

6. Turn the appliance off when the cleaning is finished. Never leave the motor on for lengthy periods as this will

cause the battery to run down. A battery that is allowed to become completely flat will soon lose its ability to
hold a charge. The battery could also become completely flat if the sweeper is stored without being used. To
avoid this, always recharge the battery when it has run down.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Before starting to clean the sweeper, always switch it off and disconnect the battery charger from
the mains. Never immerse the sweeper or the charger in water and never hold them under
running water.

Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned surfaces with
a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry completely before
re-using or storing it.

Any dirt swept up by the appliance is collected in the dust tray (part no. 10).
This can be removed by pressing the clips. Be careful not to spill any debris.
