Never allow the casing of the sweeper, the battery charger or the electrical connector to become wet.

Always disconnect the battery charger from the mains and turn the sweeper off before cleaning.
•
Never touch the battery charger with wet hands. Make sure your hands are dry before connecting to or
disconnecting from the mains.
Never leave the electric sweeper unattended when it is being charged. If you need
to leave the house during charging, disconnect the battery charger from the mains
socket. Always switch off and unplug the battery charger when charging is complete.
•
Warning! If the sweeper or the battery charger become wet or are subjected to excessive moisture, take the
item to a specialist engineer and have it checked before using it again.
•
This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without
experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of
the device, who is at the same time responsible for their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended
to make sure that they do not play with the device. This device is not supposed to be used by children under
the age of 14, not even with supervision!
•
Do not use the battery charger supplied with the sweeper for any purpose other than charging the appliance.
Do not attempt to charge any other batteries/appliance with the charger. Never use any other type of charger
with the sweeper; this could cause the appliance to stop working or could damage the rechargeable battery,
causing caustic substances to leak from the battery. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by
the use of an unsuitable battery charger.
•
Turn the sweeper off when it is not being used, when installing/removing parts and before starting to clean
it. Also turn the sweeper off whenever the battery charge is low and the brushes barely rotate; using the
sweeper in this condition could damage the battery.
•
You must not attach or otherwise use any additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
Using them may cause an accident or other problems with the appliance.
•
Don't put the appliance near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any hot surface.
•
Don’t place the appliance anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked off accidentally.
•
Don't use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.
•
Never charge the battery if any of the substances mentioned above are nearby or could be present in the air.
Any electrical current or spark could cause an explosion.
•
The appliance is designed to be operated and stored in a situation where temperatures are between +5° and
+40° Celsius. Please avoid using the device in any place where it would be subjected to high temperatures,
low temperatures, physical shocks or vibration. Do not use the device in a wet or humid environment.
Note: the amount of cleaning time provided by the rechargeable battery will depend on the friction between
the brushes and the floor as well as the temperature in the room. Optimum battery life is obtained at
20-24°C; using the sweeper at a lower temperature could result in a significantly shorter operating time.
