•
Do not allow any objects to fall into the motor unit ventilation slots. Do not insert anything into these slots,
as this can cause damage, electric shock or a short circuit. Take care to prevent unwanted solid or hard objects
from falling into the mixing bowl as these could cause accidents or damage the appliance.
•
Do not attempt to crush ice using this device!
•
Do not place food in the appliance with a temperature of 60°C or higher. This is because food at this
temperature can cause the plastic parts of the device to buckle.
•
The volume of food put into the processing bowl must not exceed the maximum (max.) level mark on the
side of the bowl.
•
The processing bowl and attachment must be thoroughly cleaned immediately after use. This is
fundamentally important for food hygiene and to prevent residual food damaging the attachment. Do not
put the motor unit under a water jet and don’t immerse the unit in water during cleaning. The appliance
must be unplugged from the mains electricity supply before starting cleaning.
•
Do not lengthen or alter the mains cable of the appliance. If you need a longer cable between the appliance
and the wall socket, you should buy a standard extension cord from an electrical dealer. When using an
extension cord, be careful not to create a hazard that you or someone else could trip over.
•
Never use the appliance with its power cable damaged, if operation is erratic or it is otherwise damaged.
In these cases take the appliance to an authorised service engineer for checking, repair or adjustment. Only
skilled experts in the service station are authorised to repair the appliance.
•
You must not disassemble the appliance, remove its cover or to try to repair it. Ignoring this advice could
cause a serious accident. There are no parts in the appliance that can be repaired at home or used for any
other purpose. Never operate the appliance with a damaged mains cable or connector. Do not use the
appliance if it fails to work normally or if it has been dropped or damaged. If the appliance becomes faulty
for any reason or if any moisture is allowed inside, take it to an authorised service engineer for checking
and repair. Only service engineers who have been trained and approved should repair the appliance. The
manufacturer cannot take any responsibility for unauthorised repairs or for any circumstances resulting from
not following the instructions.
The manufacturer’s warranty is invalid if damage results from natural wear and tear or due to any overuse of
the chopping knife (for example a chip or crack).
