MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.

It is very important not to immerse the motor unit in water or hold it under a water jet.

It is recommended that you rinse the machine and the attachments immediately after use.

With the exception of the motor unit and the chopping knife, the accessories with this appliance can be
placed in a dish-washing machine.

Wash the chopping attachment and the processing bowl in soft water containing a neutral liquid detergent,
then rinse under running water. Before packing away, let the equipment dry completely. In order to avoid
damage, put the chopping attachment back into its plastic box.

Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned
surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.

When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.

If you don’t plan to use the appliance for a while after cleaning it, place it in a nylon bag and store it in a place
that is free from dust, damp and frost. Do not wrap the mains cable around the appliance when storing it
because the insulation can deteriorate or break under these circumstances.
