Preparing for Operation
1. Plug in the power cord properly.
2. Use a dedicated circuit. Overloading the iine couid create a fire hazard.
3. Do not use an extension cord. See page 11 for more detaiis.
4. Do not start/stop operation by piugging/unplugging the power cord.
5. if the power cord is damaged and requires repiacement, have an Authorized
Servicer instail an exact repiacement part.
Usage
1. Being exposed to direct airfiow for an extended period of time couid be
hazardous to your heaith. Do not expose occupants, pets, or plants to direct
airflow for extended periods of time.
2. Due to the possibiiity of oxygen deficiency, ventilate the room when used
together with stoves or other heating devices.
3. Do not use this air conditioner for non-specified speciai purposes (e.g.
preserving precision devices, food, pets, piants, and art objects). Such usage
could damage the Items.
4. The air conditioner is a consumer comfort appiiance, not a precision ciimate
controi system.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Do not touch the metal parts of the unit when removing the fliter. injuries can
occur when handiing sharp metai edges.
2. Do not use water to ciean inside the air conditioner. Exposure to water can
destroy the insuiation, ieading to possibie eiectric shock.
3. When cleaning the unit, first make sure that the power and breaker are turned
off. The fan rotates at a very high speed during operation. There is a
possibiiity of injury if the unit’s power is accidentaiiy triggered on while
cleaning inner parts of the unit.

serial number available. They should be written on page 2 of this manual.
