Installing the Battery
1. Unscrew the battery cap at the rear of the microphone to remove It.
2. Insert the battery as shown, observing the + and - polarity markings,
then replace the battery cap. One LR-44 alkaline-manganese battery is
provided.
• Battery life is approximately 100 hours. When the volume of the sound
decreases or the tone is degraded, it is time to replace the battery.
• When not using the microphone, be sure to switch it OFF.
• When not using it for an extended length of time, remove the battery.
• Once exhausted, replace the battery with an LR-44 alkaline-manganese
or SR-44 silver oxide battery.
Mise en place de la pile
1. Dévisser et déposer le couvercle de la pile à l'arrière du microphone.
2. Installer la pile en tenant compte de ses symboles de polarité (+) et { — )
de la manière illustrée, puis replacer le couvercle. La pile alcalino-
manganèse LR-44 est fournie.
• L'autonomie assurée par la pile est d'environ 100 heures; on remplacera
celle-ci lorsque le volume sonore diminue ou que la tonalité semble
détériorée.
• Veiller à ramener le sélecteur sur OFF chaque fois que le microphone
n'est pas en service.
• Avant une longue période d'inutilisation du microphone, en retirer sa pile.
• Lorsque la pile est épuisée, on la remplacera par une pile alcalino-
manganèse LR-44 ou une pile à l'oxyde d'argent SR-44.

1. Batteriefachdeckel am unteren Mikrofonende wie abgebildet ab­
schrauben.
2. Batterie gemäß der Polungsskizze einlegen und durch Aufschrauben des
Batteriefachdeckels sichern. Eine Alkali-Mangan-Batterie LR-44 gehört
zum Standardzubehör.
• Die Lebensdauer einer Batterie beträgt etwa 100 Sturiden. Bei nachlas­
sendem Pegel oder Klangverzerrungen muß die Batterie ausgewechselt
werden.
• Bei Nichtgebrauch des Mikrofons darauf achten, daß dieses stets ausge-
