• Replace spark plug; do not connect spark plug wire.
Change oil
•
Change oil if it has not been changed in the last
three months.
Clean engine
•
Clean engine and remove all grass clippings,
dirt, and chaff from the exterior of the engine,
• Remove any dirt or debris that may have
accumulated on the cooling fins, intake screen
levers, and linkages.
OTHER
* Do not store gasoline from one season to
another. Replace your gasoline can if it starts to
rust. Rust and/or dirt in the gasoline will cause
problems.
• Store unit in a clean, dry area. Do not store next
to corrosive materials, such as fertilizer.
NOTE: If storing in an unventilated or metal storage
shed, be certain to rustproof the equipment by coating
with a light oil or silicone.
