POWtH VTR(VCR): Turns the VTR(VCR) on and off.

TV: Turns the TV on and off.
SAT: Turns the Digital Satellite Receiver on and off.

VTR(VCR): Puts the remote in VTR mode. In VTR
VI H TV SAT mode, the remote operates your VCR.
TV: Puts the remote in TV mode. In TV mode, the
remote operates your TV.
SAT: Puts the remote in Digital Satellite Receiver
mode. In SAT mode, the remote operates your digital
satellite receiver.
CODE SET
CD
Used for programming the remote to operate your TV
or VTR(VCR).
FAVOniTE CD>
SAT Used for setting up and using the Favorite Station
Guides. See "Using the Favorite Station Guides" on
page 37 for details.
TV.-VIOEO CD>
TV Switches the input of the TV.
TV, 'SAT
o SAT Switches the output of the Digital Satellite Receiver to
TV (normal TV programs), if you've connected a TV
cable or antenna, or to SAT programs.
JUMP

SAT
TV SAT: Used to tune to and set stations in the Jump Loop
(SAT). Sec "Using the jump Loop Feature" on page 48
for details. TV: Tunes to the last station you were
tuned to.

SAT
TV Specifies the station number. SAT: In menus, selects
the menu item with the corresponding number. Also,
in some screens, used to enter numerical values (such
as a spending limit or passcode).
DISPLAY

SAT
TV Toggles through the different displays of on-screen
guides (SAT) or other display (TV). See "Using the
DISPLAY Feature" on page 41 for details.
INDEX CD SAT Brings up the Station Index.
CATEGOFIV o SAT Brings up the Category Guide.
EXIT
CD
SAT
TV Clears all on-screen displays, including program
guides, menus, etc. If you press EXIT before you
complete your selections, the previous selections are
restored.
MENU CD>
SAT
TV Brings up the Main Menu (Sony-brand TVs only.)
GUIDE CD
SAT Brings up the Custom Guide. If you're already in a
program guide, pressing GUIDE repeatedly brings up
future time slots in the guide.
When moved up, down, left, and right, highlights
items in the on-screen displays (program guides,
menus, etc.).
VOL CH TV VOL: Increases and decreases the volume.
SAT CH/PAGE: Moves to the next (+) or previous (-)
VCR station during normal viewing. In SAT program
guides and some setup screens, these buttons page
through the on-screen displays.
