Installing the OpenMG Jukebox software
Note
Be sure to install the software before connecting the Net MD to your
computer.
Do not install the software while the dedicated USB cable is connected to
your computer.
Connect the dedicated USB cable only after you have installed the •
software and restarted the computer.
Install the OpenMG Jukebox software to the hard disk drive of your computer.

Turn on your computer and start Windows in advance.
Close all applications before you start installing.
• When you use Windows 2000/Windows XP: you must log on as an
Administrator (page 10).
• When an older version of OpenMG Jukebox is installed: if OpenMG Jukebox icon
is displayed on the Task tray, remove it from the Task tray.

Insert the installation CD-ROM of the OpenMG Jukebox into the CD-
ROM drive of your computer.
The setup program starts up automatically. The OpenMG Jukebox Ver. 2.2
installation window appears.

• If installing OpenMG Jukebox for the first time, select [OpenMG Jukebox 2.2].
• If an older version of OpenMG Jukebox is installed, select [OpenMG Jukebox 2.2]
(see page 12).
• If OpenMG Jukebox Ver. 2.2 is already installed, select [Net MD Driver] to add
only the Net MD driver module.
