DEMAGNETIZING THE HEADS
Either prolonged use, or an accidental con
tact with a piece of magnetized steel (screw
driver, scissors, etc.) will magnetize the
heads causing an increase in tape noise. In
such an event, demagnetize the heads using
a commercially available head demagnetizer.
CLEANING THE CASING
Clean the casing with a soft cloth slightly
moistened with water or a mild detergent
solution. Do not use solvents such as alco
