3 Headphone Jack.
This is where you
plug your headphones
in. It is very difficult
to get satisfactory
results without using
headphones. Output is
delayed for 20 seconds
after turn-on, so don’t
crank the volume up
before then.
1 Volume Knob. Turn
it to the right to make
the music louder. Stop
before smoke comes out
of your cans. Seriously.
2 Power On LED. When
this is lit, the power is
on. When it’s not lit ...
well, you get the picture
here.
4 Tubes. These guys
get hot when in use,
so we don’t think it’s a
great idea to let your
ferret sleep on them.
Let tubes cool down
before extracting them
from the amp, unless
you want to lose your
fingerprints for a while.
5 Top Surface. And
yes, we know Lyr 2
runs plenty hot. Lyr
is not recommended
as a coffee warmer or
barbecue.
