Clean the e rollers by wiping the exposed part without turning them. Clean
the f rollers while turning them. Wipe the rollers with a cloth that has
been dampened with water and thoroughly wrung out, and then use a dry,
soft cloth to wipe away any moisture.

Wipe the document holding guide with a cloth that has been dampened
with water and thoroughly wrung out.

Remove the feed roller and retard roller. (See p.30 and p.32.)
IMPORTANT
Remove the feed roller and retard roller from the scanner to clean them, and
make sure to reattach them to the scanner when cleaning is finished.

Wipe the removed rollers with a cloth that has been dampened with water
and thoroughly wrung out.

Reattach the feed roller and retard roller. (See p.31 and p.33.)

Close the front unit by gently pushing it up on both sides until it clicks into
place. Make sure that the front unit is completely closed by pushing until
you hear a click.

Close the document eject tray.
