| Removing the Center Control Cover

Gently pry the center control cover from the back of the computer and then ease the
tabs on the center control cover out of the slots on the palm rest assembly.
CAUTION:
Be extremely careful when removing and handling the
center control cover. Failure to do so could result in scratching the
display panel.

Turn the center control cover towards the display.

Disconnect the media control keys cable from the connector on the system board.

Lift the center control cover away from the computer.
