6. Lift the latch on the connector to disconnect the power button cable from the power button board.
Replacing the Power Button Cover
1. Place the power button cable into the connector, then close the latch to secure the cable to the power button board.
2. Place the power button cover on the computer and carefully snap the cover into place.
3. Close the computer and turn it upside down.
4. Replace the screws in the computer base and the battery bay.
5. Replace the battery (see Replacing the Battery ).
