You can customize your desktop to change the
appearance, resolution, wallpaper, screensaver,
or other features of your desktop.

Customizing Your Energy Settings
You can use the power options in your operating
system to configure the power settings on your
computer. The Windows operating system
installed on your Dell computer provides the
following options:

plan with Dell enhancements. Offers full
performance when you need it and saves
power during periods of inactivity.
Power saver
• — Saves energy by reducing
your computer’s performance where
possible.
Balanced
• — Automatically balances
performance with energy consumption on
capable hardware.
High performance
• — Provides the highest
level of system performance on your
computer by adapting processor speed
to your activity and by maximizing system
performance.
