3. Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops-up. Remove the memory module
from its connector on the system board.
Installing the Memory Module(s)
1. Insert the memory module into the memory socket.
2. Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
NOTE: If you do not hear the click, remove the memory module and re-install it.
3. Install the:
a. battery
b. base cover
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
Removing the Touchpad
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
3. Lift up the latch [1] and disconnect [2] the touchpad cable from the system board. Remove the
screws that secure the touchpad to the computer.
