6. Check that the LNK LED on the FOT-F3 is on. If the LED is
off, perform each of the following steps until the LED is on:
a. Check that the power is on for the device at the other
end of the link.
b. Verify that the fiber strands are properly connected to
each port.
c. Reverse the fiber optic cable ends at one end of the
fiber optic link segment.
