Hardware Owner’s Manual Update
You can upgrade the system memory to a maximum of 1 TB by installing 32 GB
RDIMMs.
32 GB DIMMs are supported only on systems with:
• Intel 7510 scalable memory buffer
• Intel Xeon processor E7-2800/4800/8800 product family
NOTE:
R810 systems with Intel 7510 scalable memory buffer on the system board can
be identified by the Roman numeral II marked on the system identification panel.
The following tables provide the latest supported memory configurations and
supersedes the information listed in Table 3-2 and Table 3-3 of the
Hardware
