INSTALLING THE PCIe DRIVE ARRAY

The Apricorn PCIe Drive Array Card fits into any available full length PCI-Express

x4 slot in your PC or Server mainboard. Be sure to use the following procedure to

install the PCIe Drive Array:

Turn-off your computer and unplug its power cord from the AC power

SATA DEVICE INSTALLATION

The Apricorn PCIe Drive Array Card supports up to 4 attached SATA drive(s)/

device(s). Drivers for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X are included on the CD-

ROM. Please refer to the product manual for driver installation procedures for

your operating system.

CONFIGURING THE APRICORN PCIe DRIVE ARRAY

The Apricorn PCIe Drive Array Card supports Raid levels 0, 1, 5, 10. To

access the Silicon Image Raid Configuration Utility at system startup press

F4 or “Ctrl S” when prompted. Follow the prompts in the utility to create

/ manage your array.

For a complete list of instructions, features and definitions of RAID, please

refer to the SATA RAID5-UserGuide on the included CD.

For instructions on how to install the SATA RAID5 Configuration Utility

for use in Windows operation systems please refer to the readme_

SATARAID5_3124_1.4.3.0.txt on the included CD.
