Slide the jackshaft (1) back out enough to slip on the
12-tooth sprocket (2) if it is not already in place.
5.
Slide the jackshaft back through the bearing mounted
on the drill frame (3). Drive roll pins (4) on either side
of the bearing to trap shaft.

Align the 12-tooth sprocket (2) with the sprocket on
the seed-cup shaft. Lock the sprocket in position using
the sprocket set screws.

Route roller chain (5) as shown in Figure 1-3. Remove
excess chain slack with adjustable idler sprocket (6).
8.
For 20 Series drills, install the right-hand drive by re-
peating steps 1 through 7.
9.
Rotate each gauge-wheel tire several turns while ob-
serving the entire drive system. If any chain binds or
pops, re-align sprockets until system turns smoothly.
10. Recheck all fasteners to see if they are tight and that
all clips and retainers have snapped into place.
