Small Seeds Attachment
The small-seeds attachment mounts behind the main drill
box and delivers small seeds evenly and gently. With a Y-
tube, small seeds are placed through the opener seed
tube. Otherwise, seeds are placed directly in front of the
press wheel. For setting the seeding rate on the attach-
ment, refer to Small Seeds Attachment, “Adjustments,”
page 23. For lubrication points, refer to Lubrication, “Main-
tenance and Lubrication,” page 29.
To order the small seeds attachment, contact your Great
Plains dealer. Refer to the tables below for the correct part
number for your drill.

Markers
Hydraulic markers are available. The units have a cast
hub, tapered roller bearings and a bolt-on notched blade to
leave a mark for you to follow on the next field pass. Mark-
ers are sold as dual units and are equipped with a se-
quence valve for easy operation.

information on transporting the markers, refer to Trans-
porting, “Field Operation,” page 13. For information on
how to adjust the markers, refer to Marker Adjustments,
“Adjustment,” page 23. For information on lubricating the
