3.3. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Note: All electrical connections and wiring must be completed in accordance with the
current edition of the Canadian Electrical Code and/or the United States National
Electrical Code.
1. Run a watertight 3-wire conductor to the open knockout hole on the side of
the receptacle/switch box.
2. Use an approved strain relief connector to attach the conductor to the box.
3. Secure the ground wire to the ground lug located inside the box.
4. Connect the white supply wire to the white pigtail and the black supply wire to
the black pigtail using a properly-sized twist connector.
5. Replace switch faceplate on box and turn on power at source.
