PROCEDURE 5: pH
1. Rinse the test tube (0898) with sample water. Fill to the top line with sample
water.
2. Add one Phenol Red Tablet (6915). Crush tablet with tablet crusher (0175). Cap
and mix until tablet disintegrates.
3. Immediately insert tube into Phenol Red Comparator (2185). Match sample color
to a color standard. Record as pH.
