“Synchronize this source with other sources that have this checkbox marked” checkbox
Marking this checkbox for multiple cameras ensures that the same delay is used for all of them. The
delay is automatically determined based on network conditions.
“Auto Jitter Buffer Delay” checkbox
If the checkbox is marked, the delay will be automatically adjusted to be just enough to compensate
for network jitter for the current connection.
Jitter Buffer Delay
Specifies the amount of audio/video to be buffered in the plugin before starting to play. It is
recommended to use jitter buffer in all cases except when smallest possible delay is required. Thus, if
video seems jittery or audio breaks, you might need to increase the delay value. Typically 100-200 ms is
enough if streaming over Ethernet LAN. At the lowest settings (below 50 ms) audio might be slightly out
of sync with video and might be occasionally breaking. To eliminate audio interruptions while still
maintaining low video delay, enter 50-100 ms delay in lip-sync correction box.
Lip-Sync Correction
Allows to advance or delay the audio in respect to the video. Positive values delay the audio. Under
normal conditions should be set to 0 ms. Can be set to 50-100 ms to eliminate audio interruptions when
jitter buffer delay is set to 0.
