2. PERIPHERAL CONNECTIONS

The Reloop IQ2 MIDI disposes of an integrated professional audio interface with 24 bit/96 kHz.
Therefore a further external or integrated PC soundcard is not necessary. In The following you can
find a list of possible connections:

2.1 Connect your line sources (CD players, MD players, etc.) and your turntables via the inputs for
channels A + B -31-. If you wish to connect turntables to the phono inputs make sure to put the Pho-
no/Line Assignment for Channels A+B -30- to the “PH” position; when connecting line sources to
these inputs you have to put the Phono/Line Assignment -30- to the “LN” position.

ATTENTION! Please always make sure that the device is turned off when using the Phono/Line
assignment -30-.

2.2 Connect the grounding cables of your turntables with the GND Grounding Screws of your mixer
-29-.

2.3 Connect your microphone to the microphone input -39-.

2.4 Connect your headphones via the Headphones Input 1 -44- (6.3 mm Jack). Alternatively or if
required you can connect a second pair of headphones with the Headphones Input 2 -45- (3.5 mm
jack).

2.5 Connect an MP3 player (for example) to the AUX input (3.5 mm jack) -38-. If you want to play
tracks from your MP3 player via the mixer, the Channel Input Selector -6- has to be used until AUX
will be displayed on the Input Signal Selection Display -49-.

2.6 Connect the output for the send signal -33- to the input of your effect device and sampler re-
spectively. Connect the output of your effect device and sampler respectively to the input for the
return signal -32-.

2.7 If required connect your CD player‘s fader start cords to the input for the fader start function
-28-.

2.8 If required, connect a second DJ mixer to the Master Through -51- of your Reloop IQ2 MIDI. The
master output signal will hereby be transmitted (not amplified).

NOTE! The input “A” for the fader start function -28- is assigned to channel A and the input “B”
for the fader start function is asigned to channel “B”.

2.9 According to requirements connect your sound system to the Master Output (RCA) -35- or the
symmetrical Master Output (6.3 mm Jack) -36-.

2.10 Connect a recording device of your choice to the Record Audio Output (RCA) -34-.

2.11 Connect the USB Port -50- to a free USB port of your system in order to use the Reloop IQ2 MIDI
as full-fledged Audio/MIDI interface.

NOTE! Please also follow your computer‘s instruction manual regarding this matter.

2.12 Connect the mains cord to the input for the mains cord -26-. Connect the mains cord to an
outlet.
