Formatting will take a few minutes, after which your drive will be ready
to use.
Windows XP
1. Open Control Panel and click Administrative Tools .
2. Click Computer Management.
3. Click Disk Management .
The Write Signature wizard pops up.
4. Use the wizard to write a signature to the new drive.
5. Use the instructions that came with your operating system to
continue formatting your drive. We suggest doing a Quick Format.
