If problems should occur during installation, contact your company's IT
supporter.
Checking the installation
1 Open the Windows device manager
￭ In the Windows control panel (possibly under Hardware or Com-
puter management) open the Device manager.
￭ Under Connectors (COM & LPT) find the entry USB Serial
Port.
The 898 XYZ Sample Changer is linked with the virtual serial port
that is listed here as (COMX).
