13. Reconnect the cables and power on the unit.
14. Return the replacement drive following the instructions provided in the WD
knowledge base article 8.
15. Go to “Appendix A - Shared Storage Manager” on page 25 for instructions on
setting up the new drive(s).
For information on rebuilding a mirrored RAID array, search for our knowledge
base article 1496 from
support.wdc.com.
Important: Do not disassemble the drive and slider bracket assembly components.
Return the entire assembly intact to WD.
