3. Raise the vehicle and remove the outer tie rod ends and cotter pins from steering arms. Remove idler
arm assembly from passenger side of the vehicle. Remove drag link from pitman arm. Remove stock
steering linkage from the vehicle.
4. Remove the 3 bolts on the outside of the driver side frame that holds the gearbox to the vehicle and
then remove the entire gearbox. Note: this may require wiggling the box off of the steering shaft.
5. From under the hood, remove the pinch bolt at the top of the steering column. Slide the stock shaft off
of the column.
6. You are now ready to install the new system.
