Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
The refrigerator should be cleaned every other month. Before cleaning, the
electric plug must be removed from the power supply.
Wipe the inside and outside of the refrigerator with a wet soft cloth.
If it's unusually dirty, clean with a soft cloth soaked with a solution of mild,
non-abrasive detergent and clean water. Dry thoroughly.
Remember to clear the defrost drain situated at the back just above the glass
cover of the crisper.
If the refrigerator will not be used for an extended period of time, proceed as
follows:
1. Disconnect the refrigerator from its power source by removing the plug from
the wall socket.
2. Remove all food.
3. Clean and dry the inside as instructed in the directions given above for
cleaning.
4. Leave the door open to help prevent the build-up of mold or unpleasant odors
while the refrigerator is not in use.
Replacing the light bulb
If it is necessary to replace the light bulb, obtain a replacement E14 screw-cap
type 15W appliance bulb from your local lighting fixture or hardware store. Switch
off the unit, then disconnect the power cord from its socket. Remove the old bulb
and screw its replacement securely into the bulb socket. Plug in the power cord
and switch the unit on.
